I filed a complaint about Premium Asset Recovery (AKA Asset Acceptance) with the BBB concerning an illegally re-aged item on my credit report. I stated I hold documented proof of service dates in my posession in my complaint.

I received a response stating that they did nothing wrong and that if I had any evidence to the contrary to send them a copy of my credit report! I responded with a request for validating documents. I received the exact same response verbatim in reply.

A copy of my credit report??? How is that relevant to a service date? I already filed complaints with the FTC and MI AG. I will be sending the info over to the Credit Reporting Agencies, perhaps file a FCRA violations complaint with my local courthouse...
